OBITUARY MR. J. S. ISBISTER Death on Wednesday removed from a wide circle of friends in Mackay and Walkerston a very old identity and one who had taken an important part in the milling section of the sugar industry— Mr. J S. Isbister. As an engineer he was well known through out Queensland and his professional services had been available to several mills in the Mackay district. He had attained the age of 77 years. His widow resides at Walkerston. Rev. L. Anderson officiated at St. Paul's Pres byterian Church and at the graveside. The pall-bearers were Messrs. R.Clarke W.Clarke, A.Wllkie, R. Smith, F. Brick- hill and J. W. Madlll. The funeral arrangements were in the hands of Mr. Alex. Grant. |
