of England, in Pitt-street by Rev.
John Hope. The bride was attended
by her sister, Mr. Alfred Batchelor
supporting the bridegroom. The bride
wore her travelling dress of cham
pagne crepe de chene with hat, shoes
and stockings to match. Their future
home will be Maroabra.-

OBITUARY.
MRS. THOMAS BERRIGAN.
On Friday last, at the age of 60 years, there passed away in the M.R.D. Hospital, a respected resident of Spence St., Taree, in the person of Mrs. Thomas Kerrigan. The late Mrs. Berrigan, who was a native of Charters Towers, Queensland, was, prior to marriage. Miss Mary Jane Herrigan, by marriage the letter H in her name only being altered to B. She was married 44 years ago, and shortly
after that event she and her husband came to New South Wales, residing at Tamworth for a few years, then for 11 years at Quirindi, after which they moved to the coast and for about twelve years had resided at Taree. Just over a fortnight ago Mrs. Berrigan was admitted to M.R.D. Hospital, where she passed away as stated above. For 14 years her husband had been an invalid, and Mrs.Berrigan had been looking after him.
In addition to her husband she is survived by the following family:

Thomas James (Pappinbarra), and
Leslie Gordon (Brisbane).

Vera (Mrs. Lambley, Mascot),
Hazel (Mrs.White, Sydney),
Zeta (Mrs. Forrester, Burragarong Valley).
The funeral left Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Taree, for Dawson Cemetery on Sunday, where Father Whibberley conducted the service. Mr. S. W. Bridge was the undertaker.
Brothers of the late Mrs. Berrigan are:
Alfred (North Queensland),
William (cane farmer, Mackay),
Thomas (Queensland).
The sons and daughters were all home some days before their mother passed away.
Mr. Berrigan intends making his home with his daughter and son-in-law (Mrs. and Mr. A. Forrester).
