An eloquent tribute of the
respect in which the late Mr.
Arthur Gilliam was held was shown
by the large concourse of mourners
which attended the funeral at Mirani
West last Monday, nearly the whole
of the residents of Finch Hatton be-
ing there. Messrs H. Zohmel, K.
Barfield, W. Wallace and E. Mclntyre
represented the Cattle Creek Mill di-
rectorate, and Mr. E. Hartigan and
Robert Sneyd the mill staff. The
President of the Mirani Shire Council
Cr. George Johnson and Messrs J.
O'Toole, A. Bradshaw, J. McNamara,
M. Comerford and W. Hardwick were
the pall bearers.
