The Will of Ralph Wheeldon Smith late of Crich in the County of Derby Yeoman deceased who died 3 April 1860 a Crich aforesaid was proved a the Principal Registry by the oaths of Thomas Lister of Newbold in the said County Architect and Surveyor, Joseph Bowmer of Burley Meadows (near Duffield) in the said County Farmer and Peter William Bowne of Bull Ridge in the Parish of Crich aforesaid Agent the Executors. Effect under 200 pounds
Note 3: Ralph Smith, who had been living at Fishpond House when his son, and Denman's cousin Joseph Smith had died there (aged 18) on August 29th 1867, moved to Wheeldon House in February 1868.
