MAN KILLED, 6 HURT IN CAR MISHAP

Cyril Christopher Bill, 38, of St Leonard's rd, Ascotvale, was killed instantly, and six others were injured, when a truck and a car col- lided head-on in Epping rd, Wood- stock, last night.

Bill was driving the car.

Roy Congran, 37, of Beveridge, was treated at Royal Melbourne Hospital for head injuries and was detained for observation.

James Giddens, of Mernda ; his wife, Ida; Gloria Dunk, of Mernda Hotel, Mernda; her daughter, Poyce, 8, and her son, Barry, 11 months; all passengers in the car, were treated by a local doctor and allowed to go home.
