The deceased, who was born in Ire- and, was in his 77th year. He was an old railway employee, and was engaged at the Honeysuckle station for over 30 years. With his family, he settled in Is- lington upwards of half a century ago. Mr. Coulter is survived by his widow, four daughters, and a son. The funeral yesterday afternoon was largely attended by relatives and friends, including a number of his old associates in the railway service, and members of the City of Newcastle lodge of the Pro- testant Alliance Friendly Society of Aus- tralasia. The pall-bearers were his four sons-in-law, Messrs. G. Barnes, J. Brem- mell, G. Mathews, and E. Hodson. The interment was in the Methodist section of Sandgate cemetery. Rev. S. Kessell conducted a service at the home, and also at the grave-side.
