Benjamin Shoemark farmed property at Ladysmith and Tarcutta for almost 50 years.

OBITUARY
MR. B. SHOEMARK
The death occurred at Lewisham Private Hospital yesterday of Mr. Benhamin Shoemark, of "Inverary," Tarcutta, at the age of 72 years. Born at Camden, Mr. Shoemark was a son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. John Shoemark, of Camden, where he was educated. He came up country in 1896 and took up the property known as "Spion Kop." He later married Miss Selina Cheney, of Humula, who survives him. There were two sons of the marriage, Victor, now of "Spion Kop," and Clarence, who predeceased him 28 years ago. He is also survived by four grandchildren.

Mr. Shoemark had been practically retired for the past five years and went to Narooma (South Coast) for six months of the year, where both he and his wife enjoyed good health until about two months ago. The funeral cortege will move from St. John's Church of England, Wagga, this morning, after a service to start at 11 o'clock, for the Tarcutta Cemetery, where the interment will take place in the Church of England portion at 1 p.m.
