MRS. ROBERT TRESILIAN.
The death has occurred at Murraguldrie of Mrs. Robert Tresilian, one of the oldest, residents of the Tarcutta district. Deceased was the daughter of the late Mr. F. Abbott, of Oberne and was born at Whitefield, County Wexford, Ireland, and came to Australia 68 years ago, being then 3 years of age. She came direct to Tarcutta and has resided in the vicinity ever since. Married 47 years ago, deceased has had 13 children, 8 girls and 5 boys, eleven of whom were at the bedside at the time of death, including Mr. S. F. and M. Tresilian from Young, Miss S. Tresilian, from the Ford street Model School, Sydney, and Mrs. A.R. Young, wife of a teacher at Gerogery.

Few people have seen so many changes in the Tarcutta district as this old lady, who was. very helpful to the sick and needy which in the old days, frequently meant the travelling of many miles in the administration of her deeds of kindness.

Every movement for advancement in the locality always received the active cooperation of Mrs. Tresilian and she will much missed in connection with the church, for which she had worked strenuously.

The funeral took place at Humula on Sunday, and was one of the largest ever seen there, the large number of followers from Tarcutta, Oberene, Umbago, and all surrounding districts testifying to the high esteem in which the deceased lady was held. The service was conducted by. Mr. C. Connor, and the pall-bearers were Messrs., T. T. and B. Tresilian (sons), W. Abbott (nephew), and Messrs. W. P. Nugent, and j. Archer. Messrs. Mcintosh Bros, had charge of the funeral arrangements.
