THROWN FROM HORSE, BOMBALA, Monday.
David Caldwell, aged 72, farmer, of Newtown, two miles from Bombala, was riding yesterday when his horse bolted and threw him against a tree with the result that he received severe injuries and had several ribs broken. He was conveyed to Bombala Hospital, where he lies in critical condition.

David Caldwell, 72, who suffered serious injuries to his head and body on Sunday, when he fell from his horse, died in Bombala District Hospital this morning. He had lived many years in this and the Delegate districts
