WEDDING BELLS. LOWTHER— CARR At All Saints' Church of England Tumut, on Saturday, June 30, the Rev. F. W. Rettie performed the marriage ceremony between Dorothy Margaret, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Carr, and Eustace Henry, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lowther, of ''Lonsdale," Bombowlee. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming gowned in biscuitc olored marocain, hat to tone, and carried a boquet of cream roses. She was attended by Miss Elsie Ibbotson, as bridesmaid, attired in a pretty bois-de-rose charmente costume, hat to match, and carried a boquet of pink roses. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Colin Ibbotson. The reception was held at Mrs. Davis' residence, where 24 guests were entertained. A beautiful 3-decker wedding cake adorned the tables the handiwork of Mrs. Davis. Mrs. Carr, gowned in black costume, carried a bunch of red roses. The bridegroom's mother carried a bunch of red roses with her beaded costume of crepe satin. Mr. S. G. Pearce acted as chairman. The following toasts were proposed and duly honored :—Bride and bridegroom, bridesmaid, parents, etc., and Rev. F. W. Rettie. The bridegroom and Mr. Thomas responded. The bride's travelling dress was a navy costume, hat to match. The wedded party left per car for Wagga and Albury. Their future home will be Red Hill State Forest.
