George Alfred Bard was born in Albury, NSW in 1883 to parents Dudley and Mary Ann (Canty). Dudley and Mary Ann were married at Gundagai in 1887. George was one of nine children; Born in Cootamumdra were William Dudley(1879), Elizabeth Mary (1880), John (1882), Ileine E.M. (1891), Mabel (1894) and Agnes M. (1897). Charles F. was born in Yass in 1884 and Thomas was born in Junee in 1887. George married Winifred McNamara of Junee Reef at Illabo in 1906. Winifred was the daughter of Bryan and Susan. Together they had seven children; Estelle, Desmond, Kathleen, John, Terence, Alice and Joseph. George had been living in Kensington at the time of his death which occured at the Sacred heart Hospice in Darlinghurst Gravesite Details AGE at Death 53
