Son of George and Ann

Adelong and Tumut Express and Tumbarumba Post (NSW : 1900 - 1925) Fri 24 Apr 1903
The reaper, with his sickle keen, has been again with us, and on 20th inst. about 9. 30 p.m. snatched away from earth Mr. George Faint, after a short but severe illness of 13 days' duration.
Deceased came into town on the 11th inst. apparently in his usual health, but next day was attacked with pleurisy. He gained admission to the Tumut Cottage Hospital, where he was attended by Dr. Mason. Everything was done that loving hands could do to retain the vital spark but Fate decreed otherwise, and he was gathered to his fathers, leaving a sorrowing wife and three young children to mourn the loss of a hard working and industrious husband and parent.
