The Albury Banner and Wodonga Express (NSW : 1871 - 1938) Fri 25 Jan 1901
On Monday last Mr. Henry Back, 30 years of age, the youngest son of Mr. W. Back, sen. expired at his residence at Gocup, leaving a wife and young family to mourn the loss of a hardworking, industrious, and devoted husband. Some months ago deceased was attacked with lung complaint, and, contrary to Dr. Mason's instructions, thought he could work it off, and would not lay up. The grim reaper, ever relentless, claimed his own, and poor Henry now lies beneath the silent sod, being followed on Tuesday last to his lone home by a numerous cortege of friends and sorrowing relatives.
Much sympathy is expressed for the bereaved ones. The father of the deceased has been suffering for months, and I am sorry to say is in a very low condition.
