DEATH OF MR. J. J. TREWEEK.
We regret to have to report the death of Mr. J. J. Treweek, of Bethungra, which occurred on Thursday night last. Deceased had been a great sufferer from rheumatism and confined to his bed for six months prior to his death. He was one of the oldest residents in these districts, and innkeeper at Bethungra, where he has resided for the past seven years.

Before coming to Bethungra he was engaged in mining pursuits at Eurongilly and Adelong. He leaves a wife and ten children, having married a second time. Deceased was a man of kindly, hospitable disposition and respected by all who knew him. His funeral is to move from Bethungra to Eurongilly to-day (Saturday). He was 40 years of age.
