13 Apr 1837 he arrived in Port Jackson on the ship "Calcutta". He received his Certificate of Freedom 10 Mar 1846.
His wife arrived in Port Jackson 25 Feb 1850 with 3 of their sons Christopher aged 18, John aged 14 and Patrick aged 12. Their son Michael arrived in 1853
