Personal Notes:

e-mail from Marie Simpson 'Joyce Alison Harris died on the 9th May 1962 by drowning. She was carried offshore near Tallebudgerah Creek, Queensland by a rip. As far as we know her body was nevery found. Joyce was seven years older than I was and looked after me like a little sister. I saw her every day when we were travelling to school together and also spent many weekends or evenings with the Harris family. '
