MRS. A. McPHERSON
The death occurred at her home yesterday morning of Mrs. Ellen Thirza McPherson, of Tarcutta, at the age of 62 years, after a long illness. She was the wife of Mr. Alexander McPherson, of Tarcutta, and had resided in Tarcutta for the past 35 years. Mrs. McPherson was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs John McCarthy of Gundaga and came from Temora to Tarcutta. During her long residence in Tarcutta she had taken an active part in the Hospital Auxiliary. Mrs. McPherson is survived by her husband; four sons, Messrs. Allan, Ernest, Cecil and Charles McPherson, all of Tarcutta, and three daughters, Mrs. A. Schumer, of Uranquinty, Mrs. C. Middleton, of Humula, and Mrs. T. Jones, of Tarcutta: also one brother, Mr. Richard McCarthy, of Broken Hill. The funeral will take place atTarcutta this afternoon, the cortege leaving St. Mark's Church of England after a service commencing at 2 o'clock, for the Tarcutta cemetery.
