Obituary
THE REV. M. BULLAS
There was a very large attendance of Methodist ministers and ' others at the funeral yesterday of the Rev. M. Bullas, the oldest minister in the Victoria and Tasmania Methodist Conference, who was in his 92nd year. The service at the house in Park road, South Camber- well, was conducted by the Rev. R. E. Hooper, superintendent of the Malvern Methodist circuit, assisted by the President of the Methodist Conference of Victoria and Tasmania (the Rev. R. L. McDonald), the Rev. Charles Angwin, and the Rev. L. B. Smith.
The service at the St. Kilda Cemetery was conducted by the Rev. R. E. Hooper, assisted by the Rev. R. L. McDonald, by the President-General of the Methodist Church of Australasia (the Rev. Professor A. E. Alblston), and by the Rev. Charles Angwin, the Rev. H. W. Frederick, the Rev. J. W. Rowse, and the Rev. David Lewis, chairman of the Melbourne South district.
Funeral arrangements were by B. Matthews Pty. Ltd

MELBOURNE. June 25.
The Rev. Moses Bullas, the oldest minuter in the Victorian and Tasmanian Methodist Conference, died at his home in Camberwell (V.) yesterday, in his 92nd year.
Mr. Bullas, who came to Australia from England at the age of nine years, was ordained to the Methodist Ministry in 1872, and began his work at Bairnsdale. He was transferred to West Australia in 1883. and 18 years later returned to Victoria. After a period in Tasmania he was appointed to the Methodist Church at Brighton, from which he retired in 1912 because of failing health

ACCOUNTANT CHARGED WITH THEFT.
Albert David Bullas, accountant at Millar's Karri and Jarrah Company's Yalgoop branch, reported that the safe had been robbed of £36 19s during Thursday night last. Detective Dempsey, who was sent to investigate the case, arrested Bullas on a charge of having stolen the money, and the latter admitted his guilt.

ACCOUNTANT CHARGED WITH STEALING. Perth. Jan. 11. At the Yarloop Police Court yes terday. Albert David Bullas late .accountant at Yarloop for, Millar's Karii and Jarrah Company, pleaded guilty to a charge of having stolen £30 19' the. property of the com pany. A sentence of six months' im prisonment was recorded, but the justices said it would be suspended if the prisoner found a surety of £20 and entered into his own recognis ance for a similar amount to be of good behaviour for six months. Mr. Williams entered into the necessary bond and Bullas was hoerated. Bullas was a prominent figure in church circles.

BANKRUPTCY DEBTORS EXAMINED
Before Mr. Acting Registrar Forbes:—
Albert David Bullas, radio dealer, of Alpha road, Prospect, was examined by the Official Receiver (Mr. Burns) yesterday. Estate sequestrated on own petition on October 18. 1930. Liabilities £427 7/. and no assets. Failure ascribed to losses in business and unemploy ment. In evidence Bullas admitted that since sequestration he had incurred debts totalling about £900, some of them in conjunction with his son, and in cluding a number of loans. Although he did not know that it was his duty to do so, he had told the lenders that he was an undischarged bankrupt. The debts were incurred in a period when he was engaged as a traveller. He was now out of work. Examination adjourned to a date to be fixed. Mr. C. R. Colquhoun appeared for Bullas.
