She will have two matrons of honor, the bridegroom's sister, Mrs. H. Smith of Christchurch, and Mrs. W. Crawford, who was formerly Miss Gloria Rasmus- sen of Mackay. Both will be frocked alike in mauve gowns and carry violet bouquets. Mr. and Mrs. Crawford, Snr., of Christchurch will represent Jean's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gillan of Wellington- street, at the wedding.
