Morning Bulletin (Rockhampton) 25 March 1915
LONGREACH, March 24.
Mr Frederick Nehmer, a very old resi
dent of Longreach, died somewhat sud-
denly. Last night he complained of not
being too well. Dr. F. A. H. Michod was
sent for, but Mr. Nehmer passed away
soon after his arrival. Death was due
to heart failure. The deceased was fifty
five years of age. He arrived in Australia
from Prussia forty years ago. He came
here when the railway was opened. He
was Past Chief Ranger of tile Foresters'
Lodge. The members of that body took
part this afternoon in the funeral, which
was largely attended.
