At Holy Trinity Church, Sloane-street, Lon-
don, on July 21, Miss Phyllis Pockley, daugh-
ter of Dr. and Mrs. Antlll Pockley, of Grey-
staines, Wahroonga, was married to Lieuten-
ant-commander Clinton Danby, R.N. The
ceremony was performed by the bridegroom's
father, the Rev. C. B. Danby. Miss Ida
Gummow was bridesmaid. A reception was
held afterwards by Mrs. Montrose Cloete, a
cousin of Dr. Pockley. Amongst the guests
present were Sir Graham and Lady Bower,
Mrs. R. Scot Skirving and Dr. Archie Scot
Skirving, the Rev. E. C. and Mrs. Dariby,
Lord Denman, and Sir Richard Poore.
