MRS. A. M. SNEDDON.
Mrs. Alice Maria Sneddon, wife of Mr. W. H. Sneddon, who died at her late residence, Church street, Minmi, on Saturday evening, was a native of West Maitlland. She was the youngest daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Richards, of West Maitland. She was married at West Maitland, where she resided for about nine years, and removed to Minmi 34 years ago. She has been in indifferent health for a considerable time. Mrs. Sneddon is survived by her husband and five children Adrian, Lyell, Herbert, Ivy, and Frank and 15 grandchildren. Another son, Private Leslie Sneddon was killed in action at the battle of Messines ridge, in 1917. Mr. Charles F. Richards, of West Maitland, is the only surviving brother.

Mr. John Adrian Sneddon died at the age of 61. Born at Maitland, he went to Minmi and work ed for. J. and A. Brown for nearly 30 years. He then came to Hex ham and worked for Hetton Bellbird company for 12 years. He retired three years ago. He was Secretary for the Rechabites and Masonic lodges at Minmi. He went to live at Tarro four years ago The funeral was to Beresfield Crematorium. Rev. Gibbons officiated. Mr. Sneddon is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mavis (Mrs. W. Stephenson) and Doris (Mrs. W. J. Enright), one son (William), and four granddaughters.
