Note 5: Reg No 363/1910 Newcastle Morning Herald and Miners’ Advocate 22 March 1910 FOUND DEAD IN THE BUSH ADAMSTOWN RESIDENT'S END. Mr. Andrew Brown, a resident of Adamstown, met his death under tragic circumstances on Sunday. Deceased, who was a single man, 27 year of age, lived with his father in Union-street, Adamstown. He left home on Sunday morning with the intention of going into the bush to trap birds. His failure to return home in the evening caused some anxiety, and search parties were formed. Some of the searchers re mained out all night, and were joined by others at daylight yesterday morning, and at 10 a.m. the dead body of the unfortunate man was found in Flaggy Creek Gully, two and a half miles from Adamstown.The discovery was make by Allen Cameron, the step-brother of the de ceased. Inquest to be held at the Adamstown Police station the morning.
