Note 1: The Argus (Melbourne) 24 Sept 1931 DEATH LING - On the 22nd September, at Melbourne Hospital, Frederick Emanuel, 43 Shaftesbury street, Coburg, dearly loved and devoted husband of Myra Lucy, and loving father of Vanda, aged 39 years. - So dearly loved and deeply mourned. LING - On the 22nd September, at the Melbourne Hospital, Frederick Emanuel, loved eldest son of the late Frederick and Margaret Ling, dearly loved brother of Lizzie, Willie and Eveline (Mrs Watkinson), loved brother in law of Alice and Harry; also loved nephew of Mrs. Paterson Reunited with father and mother. The Brisbane Courier (Queensland) 24 Sept 1931 FATAL FIGHT. VICTIM DIES IN HOSPITAL. MELBOURNE, September 23. Frederick Ling (aged 39 years), married, of Shaftesbury-street, Coburg, died in the Melbourne Hospital to- day from a fractured skull and other injuries. Ling received his injuries in a fight outside his home on August 26.
