DEATH. BRABY.— At the General Hospital Townsville, on Saturday, February 23 at 6.30 p-m. MAGGIE LOCKWOOD BRABY. aged 36 years, beloved wife of W. H. Braby, Edward -street. Ayr, and mother of Martin, Marion, Carrie, May, Doris, William. George, Cyrus and Charles Braby, Ayr. Third daughter James McDonald Smith. Brisbane. Sister of Mr L Smith. Brisbane: Mrs. J. Donoghue. Bowen. and Mrs A. J. Long. Townsvllle. after a short illness. R.I.P.

WEDDING.
PATTINSON— BRABY .
A very pretty wedding was solemn-
ised at the Methodist Church, Ayr, at
6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, the
Rev. S. T. Vickery, officiating. The
bride was May Rose Lavina Braby
and the bridegroom was Robert Pattinson.
The bride, on entering the Church
on the arm of her brother, Mr. George
Braby, was presented with a white
satin horseshoe and streamers which
was placed over her bouquet. Her
bridal gown was of lovely all-over
silk lace cut on classical lines, with
a cowl neck and a train. Two veils
were worn, one of embroidered net,
and the other of embossed tulle, held
in position by a coronet of orange
blossom. Her bouquet was of white
gladioli, gerberas and bridal fern, tied
with satin ribbon and silver horse-
shoes, and was the gift of her brother
Mr. Martin Braby.
The bridesmaids, Miss Angeline
Walker and Miss Nell Fleet, wore
dainty ankle-length frocks of printed
organdi, pink and blue respectively.
They wore flat crownless hats of
crisp tulle and flowers, and carried
pink and blue floral fans.
Mr. E. Weston acted as best man,
and Mr. Fred Braby was groomsman.
During tbe signing of the register,
Mr. T. Morgan sang "Because," ac-
companied by Mrs D. Jarvis, who
presided at the organ throughout the
ceremony.
The reception was held at the Cale-
donian Hall, where the guests were
received by Mrs. F. Hayes, sister of
the bride and Mrs. W. Toomey, the
bridegroom's sister. Rev. Vickery
was chairman. The happy couple
were the recipients of many gifts
from their friends, including a beau-
tifully decorated three-tiered wedding
cake, made and presented by Mrs. W.
G. Baker, Sarina.
Mr. and Mrs. Pattinson left by
mail train for Bowen, where their
honeymoon was spent.
