He was only ill three days suffering from an attack of pneumonia. Queenslander (Brisbane) 27 Nov 1915 PASSING OF THE PIONEERS. A very old resident of the field, Mr. James Whybrow, aged 74 years, died, at Golden Gate yesterday (our Croydon correspondent wired on November 17). He was only ill three days. He was a stationer and storekeeper, and leaves a widow and four married daughters.
