IWOOLLEN ENSEMBLE
When she was married to Mr Robert
Eggleston yesterday afternoon at St
John's, Toorak, Miss Jean McLachlan wore
a sky blue sheer woollen ensemble with
navy blue accessories and a spray of gar-
denias pinned to her coat She wore a
small turned off-the-face navy hat, which
was trimmed with a matching veil, and
carried an ivory Prayer Book
The bride who is the only daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. A. R. McLachlan of Glengarry,
Panton Hill, was given away by her
father The bridegroom is the eldest son
of Mr and Mrs A S Eggleston, of Burke
road Balwyn The Rev Dr A Law performed
the ceremony
Miss Helen Eggleston, sister of the bridegroom
was bridesmaid, and wore a deeper
blue frock than the bride She wore black
accessories and a black hat trimmed with
a blue veil. She carried a bouquet of Cecil
Brunner roses delphiniums, and carnations
Miss Eggleston will leave to-day in
the Comorin for England
Mr Robert Gaylard was the best man,
and Messrs Roland McLachlan and Rodney
Eggleston were the ushers
A reception was held after the ceremony
at 16 Tintern avenue, Toorak
