ANDREW HODGINS are respectfully invited to ATTEND HIS FUNERAL : To move from his late Residence, Stoney Creek, THIS DAY (SATURDAY), at Three o'clock p.m. The Maitland Mercury & Hunter River General Advertiser (NSW : 1843 - 1893) Saturday 2 May 1874 p 1 Family Notices DEATH. At Stoney Creek, on the 10th April, Andrew Hodgins, in the 55th year of his age, from the effects of an injury received some years ago, leaving a wife and large family to mourn their loss.

Dallas are respectfully invited to At- tend the Funeral of their De- ceased FATHER, the late Mr. JAMES HODGINS: To leave his late residence, Farley, TO- MORROW (TUESDAY) AF- TERNOON, at Half-past Two o'clock, for the Campbell's Hill Cemetery. FRY BROS., 4781 Funeral Directors. Maitland Daily Mercury 16 July 1913 Death of an Old Resident The death occurred at his late residence, Farley, on Sunday night, of a very old resident in the person of Mr. James Hod gins, who had reached the advanced age of 90. He had been a resident of Maitland district for 60 years. He was a native of Inniskillen, Ireland, as was also his wife who pre-deceased him 20 years ago. , . Since; then he has lived with his daughter (Mrs. R. Dallas); He leaves a family of two daughters — Mrs. F. Moore of Bishop's Bridge, and Mrs. R. Dallas (Farley), while seven others pre-deceased him. He also leaves twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The late Mr. J. Wm Hodgins, post and tele- graph master, Wingham, who died a few years ago, was his oldest son. Rev. Arthur Killworth, M.A., LL.B., assisted by Rev. B. Hobart, held an impres- sive service at the house, and also at the grave. The funeral, which was well at- tended, evidenced the respect in which he was held, The chief mourners ere his daughter (Mrs. F, Moore), and his sons-in- law (Mr. Frank Moore and Mr. Roderick Dallas), also Messrs. W. Moore, J. Moore, and J. Milligan, and A. G . Armstrong (grandchildren).
