Son of Thomas F. Beveridge and Christina Beveridge. Married Voila Isabell Bunyan in 1900. Father of Voila Elizabeth Beveridge, Janet Isabell (Beveridge) Bennett, Christina May (Beveridge) Prowse, and Jessie P. (Beveridge) Duke. OBITUARY MR. ROBERT BEVERIDGE The death occurred in Welwyn Private Hospital, Wagga, on Saturday Evening, of Mr. Robert Beveridge, of 60 Best-street, Wagga, formerly of Lake Albert, at the age of 80 years. Deceased was the eldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Beveridge, grazier of Argoon, and "Arthur Seat" station, Inverell. His younger days he spent in the Jerilderie and Holbrook districts. He married Miss Voila Bunyan, eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Bunyan, of "Woodlands," Cookardinia, in 1900, and they made their home at "Innisfail," in the Whitton district, where Mr. Beveridge carried on grazing. In 1913 he purchased "Pillagalala," a well-known grazing property in the Wagga district, and later "Invermay" and "Tatton," where he followed grazing pursuits until November last. The late Mr. Beveridge was a loving husband and father, and was held in high esteem, by all who knew him. He is survived by his widow and four daughters: Voila (Wagga), Mrs. R. Bennett (Henty), Mrs. J. Prowse (Wagga), and Mrs. J. Duke (Gregadoo), and seven grandchildren; also two brothers, Messrs. Thomas Beveridge, "Eulie," Harden, and Charles Beveridge, Inverell, and two sisters, Mrs. W. Ross, of "Garangula," Harden, and Mrs. Fraser, of Lake Albert. The funeral took place on Monday, a very representative cortege moving from St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wagga, after a service conducted by the Rev. Emlyn James. The casket was carried by Messrs. R. T. Bennett, J. J. Prowse and J. R. Duke (sons-in-law), G. Bunyan (brother-in-law), K. Beveridge (nephew) and L. Burt, while the floral tray was in the care of Messrs. R. V. Hoss (brother-in-law), J. Bunyan (nephew), T. Nixon and L. Pattle. Interment took place in the Wagga Cemetery. Chief mourners present, in addition to those mentioned, were Mrs. Beveridge (widow), Miss V. Beveridge, Mesdames R. T. Bennett, J. J. Prowse and J. R. Duke (daughters), Mr. T. Beveridge (brother), Mrs. G. Bunyan (sister-in-law), Misses M., B. and R. Bunyan (nieces), Mr. W. Bunyan (brother-in-law) and Murray Ross (nephew).
