OBITUARY
MISS M. BUNYAN
The death occurred last Friday morning of Miss Mary (May) Bunyan at the home of her sister, Mrs. Broadribb, "Forest Vale", Little Billabong, at the age of 73 years. Miss Bunyan was the second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. Bunyan, a well-known pioneering family of the Cookardinia district, where she resided all her life, until her health deteriorated a few years ago. She took an active part in her Church and the affairs of her district. She is survived by three brothers, Alfred (Little Billabong). William and Gordon (Cookardinia), and three sisters, Mrs. Beveridge (Wagga), Mrs. Matchett (Gren fell) and Mrs. Broadribb (Little Billabong). One brother, Arthur (Henty) and a sister, Mrs. Val Ross (Holbrook) predeceased her. After a service in the Cookardinia Church, conducted by the Rev. Williams, interment took place in the family portion of the Presbyterian section of the Cookardinia Cemetery. There was a large gathering of relatives and friends from surrounding districts. Funeral arrangements were carried out by Mr. Fynney, of Holbrook. |
