MRS. J. B. BROADRIBB
The death occurred in Rawson Private Hospital yesterday afternoon of Mrs. Jessie Barkas Broadribb, of 57 Forsyth Street, Wagga, and late of Forestvale, Billabong, via Holbrook. Mrs. Broadribb, who was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bunyan, of "Woodlands," Cookardinia, had resided in the Holbrook district all her life, where she was widely known and held in high regard by all the community. She was the widow of the late Herbert Broadribb, who predeceased her some years ago. Recently Mrs. Broadribb retired from her property at Billabong and came to reside privately in Wagga. She was a life member of both the Wagga District Ambulance and the Holbrook Ambulance, and took a very active part in the C.W.A. and Red Cross. Mrs. Broadribb is survived by three brothers, Messrs. Gordon Bunyan of Cookardinia, Alf of 'Forest Vale,' Billabong, and William of 'Innlsfail,' Cookardinia and two sisters, Mrs. V. I. Beveridge, of Best Street, Wagga, and Mrs. M. Matchett, of Grenfell. One brother, Arthur Bunyan, and two sisters, Bell (Mrs. Val Ross) and Mary (May) Bunyan, predeceased her. The funeral will take place at Holbrook tomorrow afternoon, the cortege leaving the Holbrook Presbyterian Church, after a service commencing at 2.30 for the Holbrook Cemetery.
