Personal Notes:

The Tumut and Adelong Times 6 Mar 1928 WEDDING MELVEY— ARENTZ A wedding was solemnised at St. Brigid's Church, Coogee, by the Rev. Father Gilbert, on February 18, when Miss Veronica Evelyn Arentz, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arentz, of Tumut, was married to Mr. Wallace Joseph Melvey, of Coogee, the bride wearing a wedgewood blue ma rette, with hat to match. Her brides maid was Miss Melvey, and Mr. Ro bert Garnsey was best man. The re ception was held at the Oceanic Ho tel, Coogee, only close members of both families being present. Later Mr. and Mrs. Melvey left for Kat oomba and Tumut, where the honey moon was spent, the bride travelling in a navy and coral crepe-de-chene frock, with hat to tone.
