Mrs. James Crowe Sen.
The death occurred at Tumut on Friday last of Mrs. Crowe, wife of Mr. James Crowe, sen., and mother of Mr. 'Jim' Crowe, of Tarrabandra. Deceased was a member of the Wilson family, who were among the earliest settlers on the Gilmore, where she was born over 70 years ago. Deceased was a very fine horsewoman in her young days when no outlaw was too rough to handle or scrub too dense for her to pierce. Same years ago deceased was seized with a paralytic stroke and had been practically an invalid ever since. She is survived by a sorrowing husband and nine children, besides a large number of grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Mr. Jas. Wilson (Jugiong) is a brother and Mrs. J. Vaughan a niece of deceased. Three sons served at the war. The funeral took place at Tumut on Saturday afternoon.

Deaths
MRS. CAROLINE CROWE.
The death occurred on Friday of Mrs, Caroline Crowe, wife of Mr. James Crowe, of Fitzroy Street., Tumut, at the age of 70 years. She suffered a paralytic stroke some time ago, and recovered only slightly, lingering for several weeks. Deceased was a member of the Wilson family, and was the mother of a large family, amongst whom are Mrs. D. L Herlihy of Tarrabandra, and Miss Eileen. The funeral took place on Saturday, the remains being interred in the R.C. portion of the new cemetery, Mr. H. W. Baker attending to the undertaker's duties.
