- Notes: C. F. Bolton came to Wagga Wagga as a pupil surveyor with P. F. Adams in 1858 and helped with the preliminary survey of the town south of the Wollundry Lagoon. After appointments in various parts of New South Wales he came to Wagga Wagga as district surveyor in 1875 and lived the remainder of his long life, well into the present century. Both Bolton Park and Bolton Street preserve his memory as one who kindly made his services available to the community.
