MRS. G. PETERSON, JUN.
Sincere regret was expressed at Murrumburrah on Saturday morning last when the sad news became known that Mrs. George Peterson. junior, of Bathurst-street-, Murrumburrah, had died in the Sacred Heart Hospital, Young. The deceased lady had suffered from indifferent health for the last month and on Monday of last week became so ill that she was taken to Nurse Bourke's Private HospiLal On the Wednesday, the patient was removed to the Sacred Heart -Hospital at Young, where an operation was successfully performed that night. Complications set in, however, and the deceased, gradually, sank and died about 11 o'clock on Saturday morning. The deceased lady, who was a native of Gundugai district, was 39 years of age at the time of her death. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyton, now residing at North Wagga. Deceased was twice married. Her first, husband was a Mr. Lintott, who died about five years ago. There were three daughters of that marriage, namely; Oriel, aged 11 years, Beryl 9 years, and Patricia, 6 years. About two years ago the deceased married Mr. George Peterson, junior, eldest son, of Mr. and Mrs. George Peterson, senior, of Neill-street, Murrumhurrah, but there were no children of this marriage. The late Mrs. Peterson was a daughter-in-law of Mrs. Lintott, at one-time licensee of the Criterion Hotel, Murrumburrah, The deceased is survived by six brothers and two sisters. The remains were brought to Murrumhurrah, and placed in the Catholic Church, from whence the funeral took place at 12 o'clock (noon) , on Sunday to the Catholic portion of the Murrumhurrah Cemetery.
