The Tumut and Adelong Times 3 May 1949 OBITUARY MRS. GEORGIANA FREDERICA WARBURTON The death occurred at Marrick ville on April 17 of Mrs. Georgiana Frederica Warburton, widow of the late Mr. Thomas Warburton, of Bat low. Deceased was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Richards of Windowie, and was born 86 years ago. Nearly sixty years ago she married Mr. Thomas Warburton and spent many years of her married life at Batlow, where her husband was in the employ of the late Mr. R. R. Timmis in his store (now Roths of Batlow). Afterwards they lived in Sydney, where their children were educated. Mr. Warburton prede ceased his wife by twenty years. The late Mrs. Warburton was a kind and loving mother and a friend to all who knew her. Her good deeds will always be remembered by those who knew her. She is survived by one son, Thomas (Arncliffe), and two daughters. Hazel (Mrs. Betty, Hurstville) and Westray (Bexley). There are also four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. One brother, Mr. George Alfred Richards (Tumut) and one sister, Laura (Mrs. Webber, Rockdale). Those deceased are Char les Richards, Cornelia Jane (Mrs. Farthing) and Emily (Mrs. E. Rob son). The remains were cremated at Woronora after a service read by Rev. Mr. Maltby, of Bexley. Many beautiful wreaths were tacit tribute to the esteem in which the late Mrs. Warburton was held.
