Obituary MR. JAMES ANGEL The death is reported of Mr. James Angel (76), a fine old pioneer of the Riverina. He was a son of Mr. Henry Angel, a companion of Hume and Hovell when they crossed the Murrumbidgee. Mr. Henry Angel was the first white man to swim the Murray River. (Mrs. A. E. Thomson of Grenfell, is a niece of the late Mr. Angel).
