Personal Notes:
Joseph Butler, the second son of William & Ada Butler, married Elizabeth Head, a daughter of Henry Hoad of Bombowlee in 1885. Joseph Butler, purchased an adjoining property from Harry Walker, a baker at Tumut. Joseph also acquired the Hoad farm at Bombowlee and another property from the Barrett Estate at Gadara. These lands are still being worked by his descendants.
