The Tumut and Adelong Times 10 Jan 1928
Tumut, December 19, 1927. Miss Lucy Buckley, daughter of Mrs. C. Buckley, of Wall's Creek; died in Sydney on Thursday, December 29, from pneumonia and bronchitis. Mrs. Buckley and her son Herb, had on a previous occasion gone to the City in response to an urgent summons, but Miss Buckley had made a remarkable rally, and had improved so much that they returned home, only to be advised a few days after that the worst was expected. Deceased was 50 years of age. The remains were interred in the Roman Catholic portion of the Kogarah cemetery.

Note: Lucy did not marry - despite all the husbands given her on Ancestry
