Mr. Gordon spent some years as a hotelkeeper at Strathmore and Normanby, but for several years back he has been, engaged dairying on Euri Creek. The deceased was of a most retiring disposition, and was not personally, known to many of the townspeople, but his family, who had settled in town for a number of years, are well known and highly respected, and the funeral was largely attended.
