Note 2: Reg No V1811200 5 - Thomas REIBY - no parents given see notes on Mary Reibey - 'he was only 36 at his death' Sydney Gazette 6 April 1811 On Friday evening died, at his house in Macquarie Place, Mr. Thomas Reibey, after a severe indisposition of several months, the origin of which he attributed to a coup-de-soleil when in India, from whence he returned to this Colony in October last. He was an affectionate husband, an indulgent parent, and leaves a widow and large family to regret his loss.

A. on Tuesday last, Lieutenant Thomas Thomson, of the Royal Marines, to Eliza, second daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Reibey, of Sydney. "Sydney Gazette" 15 Dec 1821:- "HOBART TOWN, Nov. 24.-MARRIED.-By License, by the Rev. R. Knopwood, A. M. on Tuesday last (Nov. 20.) Lieutenant Thomas Thomson, of the Royal Marines, to Eliza, second daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Reibey, of Sydney."

Note 4: Launceston Examiner 13 July 1844 DIED—On Thursday, the 11th instant, at his re- sidence, Blackford Hill, Patterson's Plains, Lieutenant Thomas Thomson, royal marines, after a long and painful illness, in the fiftieth year of his age.

Note 5: Reg No V18551632 43A - Mary Reiby - reg at Cook's River, Petersham, NSW Sydney Morning Herald 31 May 1855 DEATHS. On the 30th instant, at her residence, Newtown, Mrs. Reibey, aged 78 years.
