Note 2: Burial info Evening Telegraph (Charters Towers) 28 Feb 1916 DEATHS FROM THE HEAT On Sunday a carpenter named William Bell of Waterworks Road was found dead by a lad named Powell in 5ft. of water in Sheep Station Creek. On leaving home he said that he was going for a walk. He was a married man with a family but had been ill for the past 18 months. Northern Miner (Charters Towers) 28 Feb 1916 F U N E R A L N O T I C E. The Relatives and Friends of MRS. WILLIAM BELL (Water- works Road), are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral of her late be- loved HUSBAND. The Cortege will move from the District Hospital at 3.30 p.m. TO-DAY (Monday), 28th Febru- ary, 1916. The Friends of MR. and MRS. E. SIMPSON, MR. and MRS. G. MARS- DEN and MESSRS. JAMES and HOWARD BELL are respectfully in- vited to attend the Funeral of their late beloved Father.
