WAR CASUALTIES - KILLED PRIVATE J. W. HOWARTH. Private John William Howarth, third son of the late J. S. Howarth, who was killed In the landing at Gallipoli, and Mrs. Howarth, late of Randwick, has been killed In France. An elder brother is In H.M.S. Psyche, and another brother is in camp waiting to embark. This family had father and three sons in Africa, and four were at the Dardanelles. John was killed, Horace lost his left arm and eye, Harold was wounded at Lone Pine, and Cyril was invalided home after an attack of typhus. |
