Melbourne, Sunday Tho following deaths from meningitis occurred, to-day: — Thos. Surey, aged 45 years, of Richmond, civilian, at Alfred Hospital; Elizabeth Hocking, aged 53 years, of Collingwood, at the Melbourne Hospital; AlmiaMurphy, aged nine months of Fitzroy, at Children's Hos pital. The Age (Melbourne) 8 Nov 1915 HOCKING.— On the 7th November, at Melbourne Hospital, Elizabeth Watson, dearly beloved wife of Edward Hocking, loving mother of Ernest, Arthur and Harold Hocking, of 53 Victoria-parade, Colllng wood. and daughter of of late Arthur Scott, of Abbortsford, aged 58 years.

Member of the Chilwell Old Scholars Association. A colonist of 70 years. (Interred privately on 23rd August.)
