OBITUARY. - Mr. Charles Attwood Mr. G. T. Attwood received the sad news by wire this morning that his brotler, Mr. Charles E. Attwood,grazier, of Gunnedah, died this morning. He leaves a widow(daughter of tho late Mr. Stephen White, of Morrinbindinynh) and a family of two sons and four daughters. The second son, Vivian, is on active service. The late Mr. Attwood, who started business with his brother here thirty years ago, left about fifteen years ago, and was farming at Springdale, and had been at Gunnedah about ten years. We understand that the cause of death was heart trouble. Old friends in this district will read this news with very deep regret. Young Witness (NSW : 1915 - 1923) Friday 23 November 1917 Mr. G. T. Attwood, of Cootamundra, received the news this week that his brother,Mr. Charles E. Attwood, grazier, of Gunnedah, had died. He leaves a widow (daughter of the late Mr. Stephen White, of Merriubindinyah) and a family of two sons and four daughters. The late Mr.Attwood started business with his brother at Cootamundra 30 years ago. |
