WHITE.—May 17, 1945 (suddenly), John Herbert White, of Dinyah, Grose Vale, and formerly of Bethungra, dearly beloved husband of Lilla White and devoted father of Ted(Grose Vale), Susie (Mrs. H. Matthews, Crow's Nest), Mollie (Mrs. N.Bowley, Kurrajong), and Joyce (Mrs. E. A. Bull, Lane Cove), aged 67 years.

OBITUARY
MR J. H. WHITE
Mr John Herbert White, of Grose Vale, died in Hawkesbury district Hospital recently at the age of 67 years, after a short illness.

A son of Mr Stephen White, of Merribindinyah Station, near Bethungra, he lived on the station after his marriage to Miss Lilla Barnes, of Cootamundra,until they retired to Gross Vale about 20 years ago.

Mr White did not take part in public affairs, but was fond of his home, books, music, art and children. He is survived by a widow, one son, Mr Ted White, and three daughters, Mesdames Harold Matthews and E. Bull, both of Sydney, and Mrs. Norman Bowley, Kurrajong. Rev L. Daniels officiated at the funeral service at Rookwood Crematorium.
