OBITUARY.
The Rev. Julius Scott, clergyman of the
parish of Bungendore, died last evening from
typhoid fever, supervening on a severe illness
which lasted for six weeks, and rendered him
exceedingly weak. Deceased was about
forty-two years of age. He was a son of the
the Rev. W. Scott, a former clergyman at
Bungendore, and was at one time an officer
in the Commercial Bank. He leaves a widow
and five children. The Bishop left Goulburn
this morning to attend the funeral, which was
to take place this afternoon.
