Started at Mt. Perry School Oct 1874, age 6yrs.
At Bundaberg on 04 Jan 1890 George's eldest daughter Ada (Adelaide Elizabeth) married Charles John DEAR whose parents were Londoners. He was born on 21 Mar 1867 at Nebo near Mackay and later became a stationmaster. Prior to marriage, Ada was a schoolteacher at Mt Perry. In the next 19 years she and Charles had five children - Alan Rex Gregory (known as Rex), Geoffrey, Charles Valentine, Nora Marjorie and Laurence John Townsend. |
