Prayers are asked for the repose of the soul o£ Mrs. James Barry, of Moonbah, Coorna, lately deceased. Mrs. Barry was born at Cobbin Station in the year 1855. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Thompson, who still occupy Cobbin Homestead. The deceased lady received her early education at the Cooma Catholic School, but to her mother she was principally indebted for her early religious training and for the development of that gentleness and kindness of heart which up to tbe hour of her death made her a general object of esteem. In 1879 she was married to Mr. James Barry, son of Mr. John Barry, of Moonbah Station, and was the mother of six children. Mrs. Barry was interred in the Moonbah Cemetery. The funeral ceremony was conducted by the Very Rev. Dean Slattery, who feelingly alluded to the deceased lady as a true Catholic, a dutiful daughter, and an affectionate wife and mother.
