DEATH OF MRS. RANKIN.— Our readers will learn with sad regret, that Mrs Rankin, widow of the late Mr. Angus Rankin, of Bombowlee, died yesterday (Thursday) morning at 7.30 o'clock, the cause of death being a cancerous growth. The funeral cortege will leave Bombowlee House at 2.30 this (Friday) afternoon. Owing to our early publication, to catch Thursday's train, we have to hold over until next issue a full obituary notice.
